The loneliness of old comes over him

There are times that I wonder about Alexander Waverly. The man never sleeps, never misses a trick. He is always the sly one, clever in his plans and strategies.

He’s getting up there in years, and I hope that I’ll live long enough to be half the man he is.

and (like a shot that scatters birds from trees)

His is a name that strikes fear into the hearts of our enemies,  yet to look at him; he seems the kindest, most gentle spoken of men...a grandfatherly type.

Yet there are those who know that within beats the heart of a fierce lion waiting to quickly, unmercifully strike.

.

everywhere like an all-pervading twilight-hour.

He watches over us, his agents like a sentinel, and the weight, I know, of sometimes sending
people to an untimely death weighs heavily upon his shoulders.

I wonder, will I be able to fill those shoes someday?

Will I be deserving of the title, “The Old Man?"

I like this, Napoleons musings on his boss and wether he'd be able to walk in Waverly's shoes. Of course we know he would! :)

For the moment is better than none at all! Is there high speed internet available by you or wireless internet?

High speed in some areas, but not ours, nor wireless.

We're looking at changing provider, but with so many, it's hard to know who to go with.

This is the longest it has worked well in ages, problem is, it never seems to last long before it goes real slow again. :(

I guess when it's going slow that means too many users? Not a tech person so haven't a clue on some things. Hopefully a new provider will solve it for you . Fingers crossed.

Not sure what makes it go so slow, it's been perfect for the last 8 years, but just recently it's been really awful.

It's gone again now, taken me 5 minutes to post this.

Has your provider explained or looked into what the problem might be. Sounds like such a pain in the neck, in a world that is so dependent on internet service. They better fix the problem, or expect to lose a lot of users.
