I don't know either of the actors too well, so I'm fairly optimistic about their casting. They could be a pleasant surprise, and I'll be able to judge them on how well they play either guy instead of, "Hey, that's Tom Cruise in a tuxedo" or "Hey, that's Ryan Reynolds in a tuxedo."
I'm most interested in seeing how they deal with the timeswitch. I know the Mission: Impossible movies just flipped stuff over into the present day, but part of the premise of MFU is so early 60's that it's hard to imagine it working the same way in 2013. But doing a period piece might also be a turn-off for audiences and be seen as unnecessary. Like, the plot doesn't even matter, I just wanna know if they're getting the costume and set designers from The Mad Men Show or what.
