The Reading Room - Writer's Choice

It's Friday and time once again for the Reading Room.  I've enjoyed seeing some familiar tales from our regular contributors here on Section VII as we explore our Writers Choice selections.  Today I'm re-introducing a story from a couple of years ago (or longer, but not much) that was previously titled Wings of Angels, Prayers of Saints.  That rather audacious (and borrowed) title became burdensome as did some of the content.  I've reworked it and retitled it and... well, here it is.  You'll find it on AO3.
In it there is mystery, drama and angst a plenty; loyalty and friendship and a few ocean waves.  Head for the West Coast and enjoy.

I feel that way about a lot of my fics, but finding the time to go back and retool, not gonna happen for a while. It's sort of like the big mess that is my apartment. lol

Yes, they both take time and determination... and an eye for detail ;) I've found a couple of mistakes that got by me, so... more editing.
