After this one, there'll be only one last Writer's Choice for 2013. It has been such a resounding success that we'll be keeping it around for 2014! So post your links on Section VII,

Along with your link, please write a little blurb telling us a bit about your story. Looking forward to reading them for the first time or again!

Seems the answer to my question is here.

Having not read the first posts about this challenge, I was wondering if it was an invitation addressed to writers so they could "pimp" their own stories. Well, since the only complete story I wrote for the MFU fandom is taking place at Xmas Eve, I'd be tempted to do so. It's long though and not very Christmassy (My first idea was to set up poor Napoleon (and Illya as well, but especially Napoleon) in the worst Xmas environment I could imagine. It's gen and half dramatic/half humorous.

OK, I'll post it but when? Any day I choose?

I'd like to rec other authors' stories but cannot think of any Xmas MFU story just now though I certainly have read a lot of them on line or in zines, but too long ago; my only excuse being I'm currently struggling with a no-end epic wip in another fandom, which has made me scarce in the MFU community (not by lack of interest but so not to mix up voices and "climates").

By the way I keep seeing the word "pimp" used humorously all the time to qualify the fact of calling others' attention to one's own stories or works.
