Writer's Choice Sea Sick

I couldn't manage to post the link so I reposted the story... It's all about the two on the raft in Shark Affair...




“I hate the sea.”

Such a pitiful face...

It's so calm. The life raft barely sways but Illya is turning green. Wrong. He's already. Green and miserable.

“The way I see it, you fellows have got to locate the ship...”

Alexander Waverly stood behind us.

My usually impassive, unflappable partner shuddered. Imperceptibly, but he did, I swear.

I have seen this man facing the worst villains.

He confronted Cutter's Survival School.

He takes every day the challenge to be the first (and only) Russian... Soviet UNCLE agent... in New York.

Would he be in a fit state to speak, he'd probably add that he takes every day the challenge to be MY partner...

I saw a glint of raw panic in his eyes for a split second.

Illya's seasick.

You can't believe it? Just look at this poor face.

He's... he was a Russian Navy officer and he's seasick.

This man loves water. I mean, he loves being IN water. He enjoys swimming, scuba diving...

He hates sailing.

Medical gave him pills. He muttered about them being sedative.

Eventually, a few minutes ago, he swallowed them. I won't comment.

It's colder now. Sea mist prevents us to see anything and of course it prevents anything to see us.

“Imminently in danger of being crushed between two approaching vessels...”

Sedative?

Illya isn't seasick anymore.

He's just very angry.

The boat is here, close.

“Is it the Whippet?”

I know the voice.

He isn't angry anymore.

He's ready.

We're going to move on to serious matters.

Everything will be okay.

My partner is here.

Oh, that photo says it all! Poor Illya! Worrying about being crushed between two freighters will make his already churning tummy feel even worse!
