[identity profile] glennagirl.livejournal.com posting in [community profile] section7mfu
I take a peek periodically at the stats on ff.net, just to see if anyone is actually reading what I post there.  Happily, a few people do.  Today I took a look at it and was surprised to find that the third highest readership is in China.  That's third behind the U.S. and the U.K.  It's a fairly significant amount, and not one person reading the same story repeatedly, all individual visits.
Does anyone else have this reflected in their stats?  I am just curious about it, mainly because in relation to the numbers overall, it's kind of a lot.  I mean, not in relation to the population of China..duh.. but for my numbers it seems like a lot.  And I suppose it's never occurred to me that MFU might be popular, on any level, in China.  Silly me, I bet the girls are drooling over these guys just like we do.
Anyone?

Haven't noticed any such trend for my stories on ff.net. My readship stats show:
1) U.S.,
2) United Kingdom,
3) Canada, and (then the odd one)
4) Germany.

I checked my stats after you mentioned it and looked back to the summer, with barely 1 hit each month until October, and from October forward China's numbers have grown exponentially.

My stats:

1. U.S.
2. U.K
3. China
4. Canada
5. Germany
6. Australia
7. New Zealand
8. France
9. Phillippines
10. Spain
11. Kazakstan...wow?
12. Russian Federation
13. Netherlands
14. Sweden
15. South Africa

There's 18 more countries with lower numbers. It amazes me at how many have visited my stories, but YES, China is definitely moving up there and quite rapidly.

My top five countries are :
1) U.S.
2) U.K.
3) Canada
4) Australia
5) France

China is number 11 - I have 55 countries listed altogether - which rather boggles my mind.
