WRITER'S CHOICE~ "The Throne of Jade Affair"

Today I'm choosing a story from fellow writer St. Crispins. "The Throne of Jade Affair" is full of intrigue and angst a plenty. She summarized it : "Solo and Kuryakin journey to the ancient kingdom of Yu-Shan, high in the Himalayas, and become entangled in the politics of a court ruled by a child emperor and his imperial grandmother. Any discourtesy to the royals is punishable by death. Uh-oh"

I wrote this quite a number of years ago after I saw "The Last Emperor." I was fascinated by the early scenes with the empress in the throne room and kept thinking: What would it be like for Solo and Kuryakin to be there?

And this was the answer.
