What Would UNCLE Do?

There's a really annoying bit of nonsense happening on fanfiction.net, the big site that so many of us have posted to, read and enjoyed.  Now it seems that, as often happens, some bullies have come onto the playground and are threatening to ruin our fun by inserting their pugnacious, irritating selves into everyone's business.  
There is a petition you can sign that will hopefully sway the administrators into taking action here.
At this point it seems to be the most proactive thing we can do, and hopefully it will have some impact.  I hate to think that we lose ff.net over some imbecilic actions by a small group whose battle cry is nullified by their hoodlum like tactics.  No amount of self-gratifying posturing can make you holy if what you do is so completely mean spirited.  You can quote me on that.
Let's not surrender what has been ours to a group of newcomers looking to squat on someone else's property.

I think they have responded to the hubbub over ratings, but apparently a bot can be triggered to delete a post if it has enough reports citing it as inappropriate. That's a flaw in the system for sure, since it doesn't allow a human to review the situation. If this is indeed what has happened, it's time for ff.net to revise their procedures.
