Gary Kuhlmann wrote a series of MFU stories that are some of the best you'll ever read.  Compelling and dark, they put the characters into the stark environments that evoke spy mysteries and dangerous liaisons.
This one is about April, not sugar coated and nothing like the girl on the screen.

This is a different kind of a story. I liked it. Found another of his I've started to read. He wrote 'The Diving Dames;' one of the MFU paperback novels I read as a teenager!
