I thought a little lighter fare was in order after yesterdays' drama on LJ....

Summary: Napoleon and Illya are on separate vacations but Illya's goes in an unexpected direction.  Just a little humor.

I have to agree with Illya about the cartoons. Watching them as an adult can be a real eye-opener.

Probably not but he's taking a cue from Napoleon on getting reimbursed...it's called hedging your bets.

Yes cartoons...the more intelligent the mind the more need for simple entertainment...but yes they can be eye-openers can't they?

Poor homeless, peripatetic Illya, forced to take refuge in a luxury hotel!

He should be plied with champagne and gourmet meals to make up for all the hardship!

Hahaha, we know Napoleon would have but still some of it was grating against Illya's Socialist background...but not all.

I managed to miss this one the first time around, so I'm glad you linked it.

One cartoon that definitely reads different as an adult is Rocky and Bullwinkle. I recall one exchange when Bullwinkle was a football quarterback and they'd been told they were going to go against a girls team.
Rocky: "Bullwinkle, this is terrible!"
Bullwinkle:"It is?"
Rocky: "What kind of game can you play with girls?"
Bullwinkle: [addressing the audience] "Boy, this really is a children's show, isn't it?"
