Since Section VII is a writing site, I thought it appropriate to post here. This is brillant, and I have to admit...I'm guilty of some of these mistakes. Yikes!

Several of my friends sent this to me, because, for the most part, I was the grammar police/ resident walking dictionary at my last job. They were all at least 20+ years younger, very intelligent, but I don't think they had the same kind of grammar experience that someone of my generation(boomer-58) did..
To make a long story short, I got many strange looks from my fellow straphangers as I burst into laughter; way too loud!

It's great isn't it? I was going to post 'Be Tacky' tomorrow! I'm so sick of the Pharrell Willaims 'Be Happy" and it's just been played too much ....so 'Be Tacky" had me howling laughing.

This is so clever. I had to pause the playback several times, just to think about which of these faux pas I'm guilty of...uh oh, there goes that dangling participle again. Wow, try undangling that and see how twisted the sentence gets!

Watching the video, I thought of Periwinkle and her friendship with Weird Al. And her status as the Queen of Grammar. She would have loved this!

Oh I did the same thing...mine is "it's" trying to use it as a possessive instead of a contraction....lol. Yes I thought of Periwinkle too... wow, can't believe she's gone so long already.
