What's My Line? prompt for 8/21

With all the excitement about the new banner and some RL interference, I forgot to post the prompt on Thursday.  I think that's two in a row, so I may need to  put an alarm on my phone to remind me.
Let's do something that reflects what some of the cousins are undoubtedly experiencing, as well as part of Europe from what I've heard.
When it rains, it pours
lindafishes8 our calendar girl, will need to put it into Monday's calendar update.
Aside from the fact that it's the motto for Morton's Salt, let's see what it brings to mind when you sit down to write.

Will do Glenna. Raining a lot here in Ohio also. I have basement flooding issues. At least the garden won't need watering.

Me too! I woke up to rain this morning, and it's predicted to last all day. I think we'll all have something to say with this prompt. Thanks for keeping such a terrific calendar :D
