section7mfuThis is my longest fic to date, of rather epic proportions @ 113,000+ words. It literally drained me and I wasn't able to write for quite awhile after completing it. It's part of my AU series in which Illya is married with a family, though that is just a small part of the story. This particular fic became a labor of love to me and I hope you enjoy it. (comments are most welcome!)
The Summary: Given guarantees, Illya accepts a mission to the USSR, helping the CIA move a defector from the city of Gorky to the U.S. There he meets with unexpected complications. Illya must deal with childhood memories, memories of the war, a long-lost half-brother; all dredged up after an unexpected visit to Kiev....his first time back there since the war. He's in for a lot of surprises on this mission. Holocaust references. Sequel to 'The Sins of Our Fathers Affair." Both are rated gen-mature. (and please pardon and errors in grammar and spelling...still need to get back to correct some things)
