Choices - A Little Drabble Do Ya

“Mark, you aren’t seriously considering that are you?”

The Englishman sighed, his attention divided between the decision he knew must be made and his friend sitting beside him.

“Illya, this is going to be a disaster if I don’t choose wisely.”

Illya nodded, his estimation of the British agent suddenly going up several notches.  It was never easy to leave behind those things one held dear.

“I have a confidence in you, my friend.  You are, after all, an UNCLE agent.”

Mark took a deep breath, firm in his new convictions.

“Bartender, I’ll have the German beer.”

“Well done, Mark.”
