In the midst of so many terrific new stories being posted at mfu50bang I'm going to offer an older story by one of the fandom veterans, Gina Martin.  In this tale that she rates as AA for AAnguish, The Survival of the Fittest Affair will deliver just the right amount of action and angst for all of us to savor.

You want to read it offline? No, ff.net won't allow copying any longer, probably to avoid people publishing without the author's permission. It's sort of annoying, but it does protect the writers.

Thank you!!!! That is terrific. I've been spoiled with the Kindle. Instead of sitting up here hunched over the computer, I can take the fiction downstairs and lie on the couch reading.
And I am away tomorrow for a long weekend up north, so that should Kindle nicely now and keep me out of mischief.
