Illya and Napoleon find themselves yet again, prisoners of THRUSH, but something odd is going on. Originally posted for the PicFic Tuesday challenge on section7mfu. The prompt was a photo of a balcony, but was influenced in part, by the Queen song "Who wants to live forever"

Even though I knew he had a plan, my heart still leapt into my mouth when Illya jumped. Excellent story.

Thank you, but actually he didn't have a plan, all he was doing was hoping for the best and in essence had resigned himself to possibly dying. (he does that a lot) I don't think the prospect of spending an eternity with Marlena was an appealing alternative to him.

For once he had some of the Solo luck rub off on him, I think.

Great story, but one Illya might have trouble explaining - "I was offered eternal youth by a beautiful woman, so I jumped off a high balcony. It seemed like a good idea at the time."

LOL! Yep, seemed like a good idea at the time. Though I was trying to convey that he'd rather kill himself than submit to Marlene. It was fortuitous that there was another balcony railing below for him to grab.
