Last week there was no Reading Room due to the Valentine Challenge on mfu_scrapbook , but here we are again still battling the elements.  With that in mind (wink, wink), here is a story perfectly suited for the cold weather.
I admit that I am just now reading it myself for the first time, but who can resist a cross over between MFU and Sapphire & Steel?  Not me, and this one has me glued to the page.  I hope you will enjoy it as you gaze across the white landscapes or, if you're in the West, muddle through 80 degree temperatures.
