Carabele wrote Coming Back from Somewhere in 2010 to address the question I posed for Challenge 2:

In Season Two’s “The Nowhere Affair,” Napoleon takes Capsule B to temporarily remove his memory of UNCLE. THRUSH scientist Mara is assigned to restore his memory by “arousing his libido.” Of course, she falls in love with him, but even more surprisingly, he falls in love with her. When Mr. Waverly offers a large dose of Capsule B to remove her memories of THRUSH permanently, she says that she will regret forgetting one thing: Napoleon. She then says, “If I’m meant to remember, I will” and Napoleon responds, “In case you should, I shall be around to remind you.” She takes the capsules and, lo and behold, she remembers Napoleon. And she is never heard of, about or seen again. So, whatever happened to Mara? Was Napoleon lying to her, thinking she wouldn’t remember or was he truly caught up in the moment?

Thanks for providing the link for folks! It is one of my personal favorites of the stories I've written, I will admit. ;-)
