Challenge #1:

In season two’s “The Foxes and Hounds Affair,” UNCLE and THRUSH are both attempting to take possession of a “Thought Interpreter” machine. Merlin, the inventor, proves to Illya that it works by pointing the machine at him and pulling out two thoughts; one involving Napoleon and the other regarding his childhood in Kiev, prompting the Russian to snap, “That’s enough!” The challenge is: What exactly was he thinking?

Challenge #2:

Also from season two, “The Ultimate Computer Affair,” introduced us to Sara aka “Sweetie Pie” as Napoleon called her, prompting Mr. Waverly to refer to her as “Agent Sweetie Pie.” She’s been in the Secret Map Room with Napoleon at least once and he seems intent on luring her back there. The challenge is: Why was she resisting?

As always, there are rules and these are the GEC’s:

  1. The story must be minimally 500 words long. There is no maximum length.

  2. Please remember that Section VII is a Gen and Gen-mature site and stories published here must fall into those categories. Slash versions of this challenge may be placed in Uncle du Jour.

  3. The Subject line should include the phrase “Episode_Challenge,” the date, and the story’s title. The episode title and the question being answered should be included in the body of the post at the top.

  4. Please use the tag “Great Episode Challenge.”

  5. The Challenge will post on the first Thursday of the month and stories will post on the third Thursday. If you miss the posting date, no worries; post when you can making sure you follow Rule 3.
