It doesn't, and my grandmother always added sauteed mushrooms and onions so it had more flavor than just the cream sauce and dried beef. Heck even canned mushrooms and onion make it taste good. I do like it though.

It does sound good with mushroom and onions but sadly I can't eat beef, mushrooms or creamed anything, because of my restricted diet.
