It really is Fall.  The weather is behaving in my part of the world, the air is crisp and has that feeling... you know, the air is different when Autumn arrives.
Driving home from work the other day, listening to Rod Stewart singing You're In My Heart, I could see the beginnings of color tinging the tree leaves, a subtle shade of orange that proclaimed an explosion of reds and yellows to come.  In a few weeks it will be transformed, and the view will look like the picture here.  This is the Green River, and I live a few houses to the right of the bridge.  This little town was made for Fall.

I've been working more so haven't had as much time or brain power for writing.  I'm so grateful for those of you who keep the comm running with your individual challenges, to the writers who keep posting terrific stories, and to those who read and nourish those of us who write with your attention and comments, whether in print or in your minds as you finish the final sentences.
Section VII is what you make of it, and I think you're doing a terrific job.
Thank you.

As I stepped out the door to check on Misa (who apparently is off to his alternate feeding site) there were yellow leaves scattered on the ground. We finished up with several days of strong rain, supposedly residuals from Matthew.

The air was nippy, and seeing the leaves made me a little sad. I'm sure once the trees start to change, the bright colors will cheer me up.

That's a great photograph of home!

PS glad to be of service to the com! I remember feeling a sense of panic when you asked me to be a maintainer. Knowing little about LJ, it all seemed a bit overwhelming, but I think I've got the hang of it now. lol. Thanks for inviting me to Section VII.

Writing, reading, and hosting helps keep my days interesting and focused, to say the least.
