You can view the results of the Poll HERE
For any who are willing to get into a discussion about it, I'd like to open this up for comments and responses to the poll.
One of the things I'm interested in is the rating.  While all of the responses were generous, some especially so (thank you to the ones who marked 10), I'd like to know what you think we might do differently to raise the rating you gave us.  We're open for suggestions, ideas for prompts or subjects for challenges.  As a writing site we depend on the willingness and enthusiasm of writers and readers alike, so if you have some time, let's talk.

In response to a question in yesterday's poll, [livejournal.com profile] lindafishes8 responded with this song story suggestion, so here it is: Hold On Tight by Electric Light Orchestra.
In a nod to a majority opinion regarding time, Song Story will now post one week after the prompt, so that will be next Thursday (May 22).  A new prompt will be given the following Thursday, and so one.  This means that Song Story will revert to a schedule we had previously of posting twice a month.
All in favor of a calendar, nod your heads.

Whenever Napoleon Solo was in town and not on a mission, the first conversation of the day in the secretarial pool was, ‘who went out with him last night?’ Every woman in the pool loved to be taken out by the suave, sophisticated agent, but each one of them knew it meant nothing. They were under no delusion that they were simply a distraction from his daily stresses. To have a date with Napoleon Solo though, meant an evening of dancing and fine dining. Occasionally there would be more, but only if the lady in question was interested.

On one particular morning, it was Deidre’s turn to brag about the previous evening. The women hung on her every word, remembering the times they had been in her shoes. Her tale was interrupted by a fellow secretary as Julia burst into the room fanning herself with her hand and breathing heavily.

“Julia, what’s wrong?” One of the other women asked.

“Illya Kuryakin,” she panted. “Illya Kuryakin looked at me.”

There was a collective sigh amongst the assembled women. While they admired the self-assured and outgoing Solo, every one of them would happily push him aside for a date with his partner. Kuryakin’s beautiful icy blue eyes perfectly complemented his shy smile and unassuming manner. Not one of the women had been lucky enough to have a date with the Russian.

Here is a look ahead at the remainder of May on [livejournal.com profile] section7mfu.  If you're thinking of writing a story maybe this will be helpful for you in planning ahead.  We've shaken things up a little, given the writers a week instead of a frantic 24 hours for PicFic.  Song Story and What's My Line? will alternate with one week between the prompt and posting date.  April will alternate with a returning favorite, A Little Drabble Do Ya, each taking every other Wednesday.
I hope this helps, inspires and otherwise makes life a little easier and, hopefully, interesting.  Two formats include my feeble attempt at creating a calendar.  Now accepting volunteers for calendar monitor.

Hey Section VII'rs:

Just wanted to let you all know that I posted the basic FAQ for the Mood-Y: Special Anniversary Challenge here on [livejournal.com profile] network_command.

This is a general FAQ (no mood revelation yet), but [livejournal.com profile] elmey wants FAQs available on [livejournal.com profile] network_command for all the MFU:50 events to be sure and make all the events visible to as many as possible. When the fully detailed FAQ is ready for posting, I will post it here on [livejournal.com profile] section7mfu as well.

But for now we have Mood-Y: Challenge 3 in the offing for June (posting June 21st through June 28th). The mood for that challenge, as a reminder, is BEWILDERED.
