We are nearing the end of the mfuwss Gen Round Robin, and the next chapter due is going to come from
rosywonder. That made me think it would be nice to read something from her, sort of fatten the pot so to speak.
The following is a trilogy of sorts, although I'm not sure she would call it that. However, they fall in line according to what she calls her own timeline and have been created out of challenges here on Section VII. For that I can't help but take a certain degree of pleasure that the community here steadily turns out good fiction, entertaining readers and honing skills that continue to improve.

Anyway, the date is August 8, three weeks from today. It will replace the Reading Room on that day and we will gather around to honor our feline friends with new and recycled stories, your choice. Let's just fill up the pages with cat tales.
We shall do the same for doggies, I just don't have the date yet.

Napoleon Solo stood at the hotel window looking down at the view of the Paris street. It was just passed dawn and he was still dressed only in a pair of dark blue silk pajama bottoms.
The room was modern and relatively spartan compared to other hotels he’d stayed at while in the city of love, but that was immaterial...he wasn’t there to be impressed, nor for the view, per se.
