Reminder #2: Mood-Y -- MFU:50 Special Anniversary Challenge

August is here, so time for another reminder for all you INVENTIVE folks regarding the Mood-Y -- MFU:50 Special Anniversary Challenge!

As previously noted, this special anniversary Mood-Y challenge is open to all genres. Posting commences on Saturday, September 13th and runs through Saturday, September 20th.

The 50th anniversary MFU 100 drabble celebration

Just an update on the MFU-100 challenge for the 50th.

The celebration will start the week of Monday, August 24th and ending the week of Monday, September 22nd. Each of the 5 weeks will have theme and the writer can choose from 50 prompts to write a drabble. Prompts will go up the Sunday before each Week. First prompt will be Sunday August 25^th.

The journey to the guest quarters was an ordeal in itself. The corridors were full of people, all rushing one way or another, and for Illya it was a shock to the system to see so many people at once. Luckily, everyone in the building was well used to not getting too close to the Russian, but it didn’t stop them from staring. The details of his long absence were not common knowledge, but there were plenty of rumours flying about. Illya tried to hide himself between Napoleon and the wall, struggling with the overwhelming sensation of being surrounded. Feeling the anxiety radiating from his partner, Solo attempted to shield him from the prying eyes. Several people averted their gaze following a warning glare from the CEA.

ANNOUNCING A VERY SPECIAL PICFIC!

PicFic Tuesday challenges run every week on Section VII, but in honor of the 50th Anniversary of The Man from U.N.C.L.E. there will be a Special  Edition Anniversary Picfic. This is going to be a two-part challenge. (similar to the Christmas PicFic I ran 2 years ago).

So here’s how it works:

Prompt # 1 wlll post on Monday September 1st

Prompt # 2 will post on Monday September 8th

Your story is due to be posted Tuesday September 16th on Section VII.

So that means you have 2 weeks to write your PicFic. It can be a single story based on the two prompts or broken into two chapters based on the prompts, which ever you prefer.

Now here’s the catch: Your story must have something to do with “50”.  It can be whatever you like as long as the number is used somewhere in there.

Statistical: Minimum 1000 words

Genre: Gen or Gen-Mature

Please format this way:

STORY NAME:  PicFic MFU:50~ Title of the story

GENRE: Gen or Gen-Mature

WORD COUNT: approximate

RATING:  i.e. Everyone, Teen, or Adult

WARNINGS: Please make note of Strong Language, mild het, Graphic Violence, etc. If the story is AU (alternate universe) please make note as well.
