WRITER'S CHOICE~ 'Seoul Survivors' and 'Brothers Old and New' by mrua7 (mlaw on ff.net)

I started a Solo series way back when, exploring  a bit of Napoleon's backstory during his military days and eventual association with U.N.C.L.E. and have just realized I need to revisit this series again as it has so much potential.

The first story Seoul Survivors introduces his army buddies, 'Billy' and 'Scotty Bob'....the latter was based upon stories told by an Irishman/friend who for a time worked the mines near Alice Springs in Australia and met a mad Scotsman named 'Scotty Bob.'

The second story brings loss into Napoleon's life but eventually guides him on his journey towards U.N.C.L.E. and being partnered with Illya. Napoleon breaks a personal vow after working with the Russian...
