Episode: The Mad, Mad Tea Party Affair
Prompt 1: As they discuss giving Kay Lorrison the Jekyll-Hyde routine, Illya says to Napoleon, “You haven’t played the villain for a long time.” So the questions arise…When was the last time Napoleon played the villain? Why has it been so long? Is it really that Illya is so much better at it? Did it not go so well the last time Napoleon took the role of the heavy?
I'm late to my own party.

Yes his proletariat blood was boiling all right and Napoleon thought he was getting in his digs to his partner, little did he know he was letting Illya off the hook, much to Kuryakin's relief.
I absolutely loved this line..."Dawn broke, and a choir of angels sang." For Illya to hide his true feelings with that sort of imagery was Homeric!
You get a brava on this one and it was well worth the wait!

Date: 2017-04-30 09:01 pm (UTC)I liked the idea of Illya letting Napoleon have his perceived victory to win what he thought was a greater one. Napoleon can go play at Bergdorff's and the club, while Illya will get back to the lab or 'whatnot.' If he had to continue on with Bunny, I think he'd kill her.
