LOL! What did you do? I could just hear that. So sad that your dad thinking we were under attack is now the prevalent reaction to power failures, and any sort of event of large proportion. We've come full circle again except now it's terrorists and possibly North Korea. Wow.

Glad you found the story believable, and thank you for taking the time to comment! I tried writing a judo based story to the prompt but it just got too complicated. The color the pic. made me think 'emergency lights,' and that's how this tale came about.
