Great Episode Challenge for September 2017

The Unified Northern Casualty and Liability Exchange proudly presents The Great Episode Challenge.

This monthly challenge includes two prompts drawn from a single episode, allowing you to explore unresolved scenes, unanswered questions, and uncertain motivations.

And now for tonight's program.

In New York City, on a street in the East Forties, there’s an ordinary tailor shop. Or is it ordinary?

Episode: The Galatea Affair (S3E3)





Prompt 1: Some fans describe Mark and Illya’s initial meeting in Waverly’s office as awkward and stilted. By the time they reach the Lady Godiva Bar in Hamburg, they seem to be on easy terms. So the questions arise…What previous missions have Mark and Illya worked together? Is there an incident in the past which results in a tense reunion? Have they managed to patch things up by Hamburg?

Prompt 2: The Baroness kisses Mark and tells him she’s long dreamed of someone with eyes like his. The Baron even plans to dispose of her, accusing her of becoming a victim of her own heart. Yet at episode’s end, she’s off to lunch with Napoleon, newly released from his hospital stay for pneumonia, with hardly a word to Mark. The questions…What happened between Bebe and Mark after the fight at the wine cave? How did Napoleon move in on the Baroness so quickly?

Inquiring minds want to know.
