I don't like this story much because it feels forced, and not well written. I have been unable to write much for a while, and I really miss it. Despite the failings of this piece, I'm still posting it so, if you feel you would like to offer any, I welcome any constructive criticism you may have.

Wow! An excellent opening paragraph, and the rest of the story was great as well. Sometimes when we think something isn't that good, it turns out way better. Great job with the prompt! Thanks for joining in the last PicFic of the year! I'm trying to get on the bandwagon with the Once upon a time and Short Affair if my muse will cooperate!
