Finally, I'm able to get back online with something other than my phone. I found a refurbished MacBook on Ebay for an astounding price, upgraded and slick as a whistle. This is a beautiful machine, I'm so very happy with it.
I've missed a few things, braved cold and snow and lots of rain. It's still really cold here, in the 20's. And on top of the weather issues, I've tweaked my knee again.
It seems that tendons don't heal well, and I did something to my left knee a few years ago that just keeps being a problem. I was reading about it, and all of it rings true for me. I could maybe do physical therapy, but that requires going to a doctor and all of that stuff... or just do what is suggested by these medical articles.
The suggested rehab measures include strengthening the gluteus maximus... I'll admit it made me laugh when I read it and saw the illustration of a rear end lit up like a Christmas bulb. I'm still not sure how to do that, the strengthening part, without using my legs and making my knee hurt.
Oh well, at least writing for MFU won't hurt me. Well, except for the part where sitting for long periods of time with my knees bent makes it hurt... hmmm... I'll risk it.
I hope everyone is doing well. Belated Happy Birthday to pfrye, I came back in here a day late.
Stay warm if you can, and if you're not in a cold zone... be thankful.
Let's get with the stories folks! Napoleon and Illya need us to give them a more fulfilling life.
