Roll Call, etc...

Hello, it's been a few days since I last invited you all to check in for our Roll Call here on Section VII.

My weekend was not so different from the past several weekends.  I do the live stream from church with our limited crew, then pop in at my cousin's to check on him and his wife. This past Sunday, for Easter, she prepared a light lunch for us, after which I came home and took a three hour nap.  I hadn't got much sleep the night before, another symptom of not enough activity I think.

I've ordered a new keyboard, actually an electric piano.  The one I've had for nearly 30 years has finally, sadly, bit the proverbial dust. I haven't played it much since I moved here eight years ago, and I need to be playing daily.  The new one is a great buy, a Roland (the best acoustic sounding grand piano to be had, I think), and it arrives tomorrow.  I'm excited, and it's a full 88 keys. 

So, what's happening with all of you? Marian, aka mrua7, is still without internet, and steadily unpacking all of the boxes she moved into her new apartment. If anyone would like to send her a postcard or something else to wish her well in her new digs, just PM me here on LJ.  I know she'd love to hear from you.

Still here. My two ex racing greyhounds are getting stir crazy....we have only been able to walk them up and down the street as the beaches are closed as well as the boardwalk (their favorite walking spot). I'm sitting right now typing this on my laptop and my big male hound Magik is on a chair opposite staring at me and sighing with an occasional groan. He's very expressive.

These lovely animals are such good companions while we wait to be around the human sort. I hope you get back to your beaches soon.
