Just Checking In...
Apr. 27th, 2020 08:49 amI hope this finds everyone still sheltering safely. The sun is out here after several days of rain. I keep thinking that perhaps the rain is washing away the danger of this virus, so that when the sun comes out we have some respite from it.
I admit without shame to being an optimist.
We have challenges here on Section VII. Another admission, I haven't written anything lately. My creative pursuits seem to be lingering around very tactile pursuits, needle work and papercrafting. I am going to try and get to a short affair today, after I return from my driving duties. It's a day for my cousin's dialysis appointment, so that will be about five hours out of the day. Thankfully, it's something that can be accomplished; another reason for gratitude in the midst of the Coronavirus disruption.
Let's hear from all of you, keeping in touch is so very encouraging.

Date: 2020-04-28 12:03 pm (UTC)I don't think this virus is anyone's "fault," per se - these things are going to happen in a global economy, and we'd be fools to think otherwise - but I know the rich will make hay while the working poor will bear the brunt, as always.

Date: 2020-04-28 08:57 am (UTC)our sunny and warm weather has been replaced with rain this morning. This is good for the garden; the lawn was getting rather yellow :-)
