Remember Me?
Sep. 18th, 2020 11:38 amIt's been awhile, and I thank all of you for indulging my absence while I tended to family matters. As some of you know, my darling cousin Luther was battling illness, and has sadly passed after a short but dramatic encounter with pancreatic cancer.
On Tuesday we celebrated his life, and in spite of the Covid-19 restrictions and sadly, fears, we had wonderful people come out to send him off with love and gratitude for a life well lived. Thank you to all who sent sweet messages of comfort and encouragement.

Now, on this feast of Rosh Hashana, perhaps we can all embrace a New Year, even if it is not a reflection of your own faith or beliefs. The beginning of this celebration is opportunity for all of us to say 'hello' to what we can hope is a better and more optimistic future than what we've dealt with for the past six months.
This community is all about the exploits of men and women who work to ensure safety and security. I hope we will continue to celebrate that ideal, and the people, both real and fictional, who dedicate their lives to that purpose.
Peace...
