Anyone have any clue why all my LJ entries are coming up as readable to members only?  I never had this problem before until this month.

And it depends on the blog or comm settings what that defaults too.

If you have your personal journal set generally to "Friends Only", it will always default to that on every new entry and you have to change it for specific posts.

If the community is set generally for "Members Only", it will default to that and you have to change it for specific posts.

Duh! it's been too hectic today.

Yes, posts to this community will default to "Members Only" and you have to change the Security to "Public" because posting is open to Members Only.

And no, we didn't change anything on the community setup. LJ changed how they handled it programmatically.

Ah - that makes sense. I knew I hadn't changed my personal settings and went back to double check them. Appreciate you keeping me from beating my head against my desk - my desk can't take much of that *g*.

thanks for that info, I just checked my settings and they're fine...
