Date: 2013-12-17 07:37 pm (UTC)How do you put one image from google images on top of another? And how do you add text? What are the steps?

Date: 2013-12-17 08:11 pm (UTC)If you want to add text to the image 1. in your document toolbar click T and then bring your mouse onto the image. Then in your tool bar ( it should appear once you've placed the cursor on the image and a window should appear. Adjust the size of it by dragging it until it fits the area in which you want the text to appear) choose your text size, font and color. Go back to the image and begin typing your text.
It's basically the same process with images. Drag one image it, then drag the second image on top of it and click T to adjust the size of the second image to fit the first....done by dragging the window that appears.
I hope this makes sense? I may be using the wrong termininology to explain this and I'm afraid it may be a case of the blind leading the blind.
I haven't learned how to cut an image eliminating corners and such yet. Have to figure that one out yet....

Date: 2013-12-17 10:37 pm (UTC)Once the image is there, click on it and a blue square will appear with little blue boxes at the sides and top. Those little squares are what you drag in order to enlarge you image. You'll have to play around with it until you get it large enough, but remember it must stay within the parameters of the page.
Once your image is sized, then click on the T in your task bar on the page. Another blue box will appear and size that one to add print to your image as I explained previuously.
You'll have to adjust your font size as well a choose a font and color....all in your task bar on the document page.
Just explore and play around with things until you get the hang of it.
Once your image is finished, Click outside the image so the blue boxes disappear and then you can download to a JPEG. Your finished document is stored in google docs under its title and you can go back and change it any time you want.
Just remember the previously downloaded image doesn't change, so you'll have to download the updated document each time you make a change to it.
Eeek, hope this helps?

Date: 2013-12-17 11:45 pm (UTC)Once you find the image you're looking for, just click on it. Then go to LJ and upload the image to your scrapbook. On a Mac a page will appear when you click on Browse on LJ. It'll open a page that lists the documents and images you've opened today. find the image on the list, highlight it and click open. That''ll upload it to your album and from there you can post it to your journal or where ever you want to post it.
