A huge thank you to all the writers, and those who took the time to comment on the stories posted here on Section VII yesterday for the Second Anniversary PicFic Challenge! The turnout as well as the stories were fantastic.  If you haven't read them, take the time to do so! You won't be disappointed.

There's one more PicFic to post before the big MFU 50th Event here on Section VII!

Now don't forget that Special Edition PicFic event. The two-part challenge begins on September 1st, for prompt 1, prompt 2 will be up on September 8th and your stories are due to post Tuesday September 16th.  This is part of the MFU 50th Anniversary Celebration.  So please join us!

PicFic Tuesday challenges run every week on Section VII, but in honor of the 50th Anniversary of The Man from U.N.C.L.E. there will be a Special  Edition Anniversary Picfic. This is going to be a two-part challenge. (similar to the Christmas PicFic I ran 2 years ago).

So here’s how it works:

Prompt # 1 wlll post on Monday September 1st

Prompt # 2 will post on Monday September 8th

Your story is due to be posted Tuesday September 16th on Section VII.

So that means you have 2 weeks to write your PicFic. It can be a single story based on the two prompts or broken into two chapters based on the prompts, which ever you prefer.

Now here’s the catch: Your story must have something to do with “50”.  It can be whatever you like as long as the number is used somewhere in there.

Statistical: Minimum 1000 words

Genre: Gen or Gen-Mature

Please format this way:

STORY NAME:  PicFic MFU:50~ Title of the story

GENRE: Gen or Gen-Mature

WORD COUNT: approximate

RATING:  i.e. Everyone, Teen, or Adult

WARNINGS: Please make note of Strong Language, mild het, Graphic Violence, etc. or if the story is AU (alternate universe)

TAGS: Gen, or Gen-Mature, MFU:50

The pictures you give us are often challenging (such as the one for next week, lol), and I enjoy participating. It took me ages to get through all of yesterday's submissions.

Thanks so much! I'm so glad you joined Section VII and jumped in with great enthusiasm.

You think yesterday's stories took you ages to get through? Wait until the mini-bang stories start to hit in September! I know mine is gong to be in the realm of 14-15,000 words. Carabele's is I think, over 27,000! There's approximately 25 stories to be posted...with illustrations!

So I think you'll be good until the New Year?
