As Glenna suggested, I am polling folks' preference for the seasonal challenge here on section7mfu for next year (2015).

PlEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING ADDITONAL INFO before making your choice:

LIFECYCLE The concept is based roughly on the idea of the "circle of life" in that I would provide a prompt relating in some way to a facet of human living. As an example, the prompt might be something like REGRET. There would be 5 challenges in total.

HODOWE: (Stands for Holidays of Dubious Origins Writing Event) There would be 5 challenges in total. Below is the listing of the obscure holidays that would be used:

CHALLENGE #	HOLIDAY	HOLIDAY DATE (posting TBA)
1	Ben Franklin's Birthday	January 17th
2	Patriots' Day	April 20th
3	Victoria Day	May 18th
4	Women's Equality Day	August 26th
5	Sweetest Day	October 17th

BOTH: This would be a combo of both with an abbreviated scheduled for each, such that there would be 6 challenges in total: 3 LifeCycle and 3 HODOWE. LifeCycle prompts would be revealed a few weeks in advance. Below is the listing of the obscure holidays that would be included in the HODOWE.
