With the permission of the mods, I'm posting to ask how the members of this com would feel about having a Vive La France Week; with fic on French themes, settings, persons or any etceteras.

The original date in France for their observance of labor day was March 4, so perhaps we could tie it in there.
We have our Seasonal Challenges going on, but not during that period of time. A week devoted to the French theme could be tied into the other weekly challenges, we could run it March 2-6.

Yes, we do have a seasonal challenge during that timeframe -- LifeCycle #1: Knowledge, which runs from February 28th through March 7th. But it's not like we haven't had overlapping challenges before.

You're right, I was just looking at the start date. Well, if anyone wants to incorporate the French theme into that challenge it will be a completely interactive event. The Lifecycle postings extend out in front of and beyond the Viva la France event.
