It very nearly passed me by, but this week marks the first anniversary of 'The Short Affair' challenge.

It all began when I wrote the first, in what I had planned to be, a series of short stories. mrua7 like the idea so much, that she suggested I make it into a regular challenge here on Section VII. From a relatively slow start, the challenge has grown, and we have had many, many wonderful stories as a result.

Thank you to everyone who has taken part over the last year. I hope you are enjoying it, and will continue to join in.
