 Okay, if you've found your way here then we have some kind of communication going.  We always dread the LJ breakdown but many of us have experienced it for extended periods of time.
There have been stories popping up on ff.net from some new writers; well, new to MFU.  One of those goes by otherhawk, and her stories are very engaging.  This is one of the first that she posted and if you haven't already read it, I think you'll enjoy this story.

Non-Challenge Post: The Peaceful Meadows Affair, 1/?

Finally got enough inspiration to start writing an idea I got several weeks ago. Some future chapters may be written with community prompts.

Title: The Peaceful Meadows Affair, chapter one
Summary: Napoleon and Illya go undercover at a gated community to find out why residents are disappearing after committing even the slightest infractions. Illya especially isn't pleased to discover two old enemies have also moved in, for unclear reasons.

So I was able to get one of the MFU posters at our local movie theatre today.  They're not supposed to give them out before the movie premiers but after the fire drill fiasco last night when I went to see a preview showing of Jurassic World, the fire alarms went off  causing a mass evacuation of the theatre.  The movie was delayed by about an hour.

 Long story short, got to see the movie...eventually, and got a couple of free movie passes in the process.  I found out the name of the fellow who handles the posters as they had one up for the MFU movie in the lobby... Got his direct phone number.  (I was shocked at my luck)

So it seems he received only 2 posters, the one that was on display and the one he decided to give to me...guess he felt sorry for me? Dunno, but does it matter/  So now I need to go find a poster frame for this puppy.  Will hang on my wall beside my 'classic' MFU poster. (the one I use as my icon)

He's not sure if they'll be getting more in for the premier as he said he should already have them by now.

I usually don't have this sort of good fortune. Hmmmm maybe I should go buy a lottery ticket?
