Roll Call?

I'll admit to being curious about how it's going for everyone, whether or not we're still having visitors, people checking to see what's being posted.  I can look at the stats and see numbers and the 'anonymous' lurkers, but I wonder how many are willing to just tick the heart icon to say you were here.

I'd expect that in these times, the internet activity is increased because of the stay at home orders we've mostly received.  Kentucky isn't on a severe lockdown, but we started early with following the recommendations and have kept our number of cases fairly low, thankfully.  Of course the landlocked states have fared the best in all of this, as opposed to the coastal states that have a steady stream of people due to shipping, tourism and any number of reasons for landing there.

Here on Section VII it would be nice to know how you're doing.  Some post on a regular basis, so we're accounted for.  Marian has moved and is in her new apartment, but she won't have internet for awhile.  I talk to her everyday, and can tell you that she's surrounded by boxes and still finishing up with the cleaning duties at the old apartment.  Kitties are all good, and the process of living in a new place has begun.

How about the rest of you, can you check in and let us know you're doing okay?  If you're willing, just respond in the comments.  Connecting is important, and I hope y'all will do that here.

Hi Gang! it's been a while. I, too am a bit of a lurker. i've been home since 3/17. I have been able to take a walk here and there. I live in NY -- not Manhattan, but "da Bronx"! It is incredibly quiet. I have a young friend who is in ER doctor in Brooklyn and he posts daily about theCV. i hope that he remains healthy.
Luckily, i work from home with technology, and collect a paycheck! i am blessed. I am also am fortunate that i have a little back deck to sit out on and a small front porch. The neighbors will ocassionally chat from our porches. Dad enjoys that as he is more outgoing than I. i worry about him. He's88! and he hates the restrictions. While there are no services at church, he still goes every morning which makes me very anxious.
Anyroad, As i am a bit of an introvert, i can happily work all day, cook and have some fun with new recipes. And books and even a couple of projects. I hope that we all remain healthy. Thanks for this place to share! it's good to read about your experiences.
