The movie is finally looking like it could turn into something worthwhile.  I think we can assume that all of Section VII is behind this new development, possibly even responsible for it.  We are, after all, propaganda and public relations. See what the future of MFU may look like here

Now if they'd recast the actor playing IK, it might look better. Think their choice is off base on that.

Not familiar with him. The current actor cast is over 6' tall? I mean, come one....

If it's anything like all the other stuff coming out of Hollywood it will be an unsubtle, wham bam thank you mam, special effects driven, poorly plotted, so-called 'action' film. I am not surprised they have cast someone like Armie Hammer as IK, it shows their lack of care. I'm sure there is someone out there who has at least a slight physical resemblance to IK.

I went to see the latest Star Trek film the other night, and I was struck by how much effort had gone into choosing actors who mirrored the original characters both in looks and in other, more subtle ways. Why would it not be possible to do the same with MFU?

I would like to see a more 'noirish' MFU remake, more like Season 1, with a script which raises questions, not just what I imagine we'll see come next year.

Rant over ....!

Don't worry. He must be admiring your handiwork (after all you are artistic).

Oh no I can't do that! I'm sure he'll sit still for you and it'll look charming. But he'll have to come down eventually if only to change his undies. In fact I have a white wash on at the moment...

I actually like this proposed cast and hope Cavill gets the role. I think Hammer has the intensity to play Illya while Cavill as the joie le vive for Napoleon.

I am praying this cast does wind up final.

I just find it sad that after all these years we still seem to have the idea fixed in our heads that so-called 'leading' men should have a certain appearance, i.e. tall and usually dark. I found it amazing that there was so much fuss about Daniel Craig being a 'blond Bond'. That's why MFU was so refreshing (and so incredible) way back in the 60s.
