Spoke to Linda this morning and she sounds like she's pretty good spririts.  They had her up sitting in a chair.  She's waiting to find out when she'll be transferred to rehab, but once there she doesn't expect it'll be long before she's finally home.

She says thank you so much for all of the good vibes, thoughts and wishes!

Just spoke to Linda and she came through surgery fine, though she broke her fibula it's actually considered a broken ankle as it's where the fibula connects with the ankle.

She's waiting to find out when she will be sent off to a rehab facility and has to stay off the foot for 6-8 weeks.  Knowing Linda, oh joy.  She was a nurse and knows the routine but easier said than done when it comes to yourself.

She won't be able to do any reading as of yet as she's still recovering from her eye surgery.   I let her know everyone's get well wishes and she says a big thank you to you all!

Will keep you updated on our Calendar Girl's recovery!

For those of you who are members of Section VII, you may not have read my update that our Glennagirl is in the hospital having suffered a severe asthma attack. Just got off the phone with her as she was moved from ICU to a pulmonary unit. She's in good spirits given the situation.  This attack isn't as bad as the one that hospitalized her last year, and nearly killed her.

She's not sure how long she'll be in hospital as her vitals have to be stabilized, she's also dehydrated. She's had lots of breathing treatments so far.  Will keep you informed as I get updated from her.  To everyone who's sent her good wishes and prayers, she's very grateful.   Keep those positive healing vibes and prayers coming.

Still in the hospital; she said she will have an MRI and her carotid artery tested tomorrow.  She hopes to be released Wednesday.  She sounds good.  I read everyone's comments to her and she is grateful for the thoughts and prayers.  I had sent her a text when I read here that she was hospitalized and she called me.  So, this is my Marian update.

Our cousin, Jkkitty was admitted to the hospital yesterday. She was suffering from severe dizziness and nearly passed out when she stood up. Right now she's waiting for MRI  results, and  says she needs carotid dopplers done yet.  Keep her in your thoughts, and send her some messages, as she has her laptop with her.

Just a quick note to let everyone know that Glenna (undoubtedly with a little help from Illya and Napoleon) has escaped from Medical. She's home and resting comfortably.

As of today, she should be reconnected to the Internet. Please send good thoughts her way as she searches for work in her area.

Hi all, I received a message from Glenna. She is out of ICU, running a fever and is very sleepy.  Says it's a grey dreary day by her, but at least she's had family coming in to see her. Good to know she's not alone.    Says not much to tell right now but will keep us updated and thanks everyone for their well wishes.

Just to let everyone know: Glenna has been in a Kentucky hospital for the past couple of days. Apparently she had a much more severe asthma attack than previously, and the doctors were unable to get it under control. She's in ICU, and was listed in critical condition up until a couple of hours ago. The doctors had her on a ventilator, which thankfully, has now been removed. Her condition has been upgraded (to stable, I think) and she's finally awake.

I'm very sorry I didn't think to post over here earlier--I guess I wasn't thinking straight. Anyway, please send good thoughts and healing prayer to our Cousin as she recovers from this rather scary event. Let's also hope that the doctors can diagnose what's really going on, because (IMHO) I'm pretty sure it isn't asthma.
